(HOLLYWOOD, CA) — 2003 ‘American Star'(c) Reality TV Show on Performing and Creative Entertainment Arts casting ‘Open-Calls’ will begin in Los Angeles in January 2003. Studio Taping begins throughout Los Angeles, April, 2003.
American Star(c) is a new reality TV Program for Excellence and Creativity in the Performing, Creative and Graphic Arts is the most unique structure of any of the new Reality Show trend. By conducted a national program for many categories in entertainment and image arts, it not only showcase the best new, independent, amateur and student talent in many entertainment genres and crafts, but it offers a coverage of real talent developmental processes to refine and present their talent without the limitations of a winner-takes-all competitive environment. this Program shows the comprehensive and exhausting training and preparation an artist and performer must experience to become a success.
The American Star(c) Program, independently syndicated for both Cable and Broadcast, will follow 30 individuals from across the America’s for 30 days in a studio and location Taping Schedule throughout L.a. & Hollywood. The Program will provide unique personalized industry standard training, production and guidance in Los Angeles by experts in fields covering the entertainment and creative arts. The lucky best 30 of all the entrants with actual and potential talent in Music / Dance / Computer Graphics Art / Film Script Writing / TV Script Writing / Photography & Cinametography / Graphic Arts (Illustrations, Portraiture, Painting, set Design, etc) and more will get an unbelievable opportunity to take their dream and aspiration of success to a higher level. The best potential talent selected from the range of Categories, from Regional Open Calls and/or direct mail and on-line Submissions, will attempt to win this wonderful and priceless real performance and creative arts guidance and support in Los Angeles, the world capital of entertainment. Their’s will be a hands-on, real-world, actual preparation for their quest to be a new American Star(c)!
The accepted entrants for this national Open Audition and Submission process will experience a real-world immersion in the nuts-and-bolts of their chosen entertainment craft. Brought to Los Angeles for 30 days of intense participation in Master Classes, Seminars, Workshops, Interviews, Auditions, Skills training, physical training in L.a.’s world class recording studios, rehearsal facilities, Universities, gyms and spas. These new talents and artists will get to experience full-time participation in all the aspects of development that all competent and prepared artists, performers and entertainers must experience to be ready for success in the performing and creative arts.
Any individual, group, instructor, student, performer, writer, technician and/or artist active or learning in any of these fields of art or performance can submit entry materials to be considered for inclusion and recognition.
The steps involved in the process have been designed to be simple and far more inclusive for new talent then any TV Reality and Talent Search program ever done for television.
Letters are sent to individuals who make contact by Email: info@AreYouAnAmericanStar.com, asking for entry information about new talent and individual in any of the included categories. Accompanying the letter will be an official entry form, the American Star’s(c) rules for entering the Open Talent Calls for the Program categories and a copy of established guidelines that help the committee weigh the eligibility of the applications. Entry forms must be returned to the Program Producer as soon as possible for compiling the applications and review of the information to members of the committee to facilitate scheduling for Regional Auditions and Interviews for casting in the Program in April, 2003.
