Serenity Phone Message for Auction by PETA

(LAS VEGAS, NV) — Serenity is once again lending her support to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). As part of PETA’s annual Holiday Auction, fans can bid on the chance for Serenity to leave an outgoing phone message on their answering machine.

Serenity has been involved with PETA since 1999 when she became involved with PETA’s “Pleather Yourself” campaign which can be found at PleatherYourself.com. In that campaign Serenity slipped into fake snakeskin chaps and a pleather corset for a photo shoot in Los Angeles to show the sizzling side of animal-free fashions. The Holiday Auction is a chance to give one lucky fan a personalized answering-machine message.

“This is a cause that is very important to me,” said Serenity. “The Pleather Yourself campaign illustrates that there are alternatives to leather that still make you look sexy. The Holiday Auction is another way that I can lend my support to PETA.”

Early in 2002 fellow LVNI contract star Jacklyn Lick also became involved with PETA and the Pleather Yourself campaign.

Fans interested in bidding on this exciting item should visit the PETA web site at PETAautions.com.

Other celebrity items include a signed LP from Eddie Veder of Pearl Jam, a Kevin Nealon personalized phone message and pair of Houston Rocket courtside tickets and Club House passes.
