For every new webmaster who signs up through your affiliate account, we’ll add $5 to your commissions. You’ll see this new category on your commissions report under the category "Commissions on Sub-Affiliate Signups." There you’ll see a $5 commission for each new signup. Since its launch in late October, we’ve had a great response to the VidMail.com affiliate program, and as an Adam & Eve affiliate, if you were in our program as of October 30, 2002, you’re automatically enrolled in the VidMail program! If you would like to get started today with increasing your affiliate income with the VidMail.com affiliate program, you can log in to the VidMail Program today, using the same user Id and Password you have for Adam & Eve. Remember that the two companies do not combine for payments, and you have to earn the low $25 minimum for each program for payment. Grab your $100 Holiday Bonus
We’re in the second month of our October-November pre-holiday bonus program, so you still have a few weeks to get those holiday shoppers through your links! For all our affiliates who have not yet earned a bonus on this one, if you earn a minimum of $100 in commissions for combined October and November sales, you get a $100 Bonus added to your commissions! Webmasters who earned at least $100 for the month of October are getting that bonus included in their November commission checks. Affiliates who earn the $100 minimum by the end of November will have the $100 bonus added to their commission checks for December. This promotion ends 11/30/2002.
How to make money giving away free DVDs on your site
Ever wonder how you make money by putting a banner link on your site that gives away Free DVDs to our customers?
They don’t pay for the freebie so you don’t earn a commission, right? Correct, you don’t make money on any of our giveaway items (we don’t charge the customer for them so we can’t give you a cut of nothing!) but the secret is: they take the freebies and keep buying more stuff!
For the month of October, the average customer order on our Free DVD offer was over $61 (that’s the merchandise total, not including shipping) so if you were doing "average" business last month with the Free DVD give-away on your site, you’d earn $12.20 for each freebie you helped us give away!
True…some customers will just take the freebie and run, but once we get them registered in the system (there’s another $2 for you!) they continue to get emails bringing them back to the site, and you earn your commission on everything they buy, every time they return, with no time limit! We’re working hard to keep your customers happy and keep bringing them back to the site, because every time they return and buy, that’s commission in your pocket.
We start with the very first day they register on the site: If your new customer registers on our site ($2 in your account!) but doesn’t buy anything, they’ll get a series of highly-competitive weekly email offers designed to get them in the door and buying goods. And you get the commissions.
Experiment with the Free DVD offers on your site and see how they work…we have plenty of banners to choose from or you could set up a text link on a line like "Free DVD – Nothing Else to buy Ever" and see if that increases your response. Some webmasters are using a simple "Free DVD" text link in their site navigation on every page for optimum traffic in a minimum of space. Consumer response is quickest on a Free offer, and the additional sales you’ll earn make it worth the space on your pages.
