(ATLANTA, CA) — The end of September each year in Atlanta means the return of the NOPI Nationals Motorsports Supershow to the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
With over 80,000 attendees for the two day event, it is the largest show of its kind in the world. This show is about showcasing your wares. Whether it is your car or bike in the Dyno or Burnout contest, or your tight body in the NOPI Bikini Contest or Model Search.
I couldn’t take much of the Circuit City Sound Competition, which featured rides with huge woofers, amps, and bass wars in many different competitions divided between vehicle type and stereo wattage.
XBOX was the major sponsor this year and proved to be more than worthy, with its giving away of game units and games to attendees. The show marked the debut of the NOPI Chic line of clothing. A model search was held to select models for the 2003 catalog.
The bikini contest is a legitimate competition. Competitors were qualifiers from regional and local feeder contests held throughout North America. About 70 girls ended up competing for cash and priizes worth 1,000’s of dollars.
