(BEVERLY HILLS/HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Digital Playground’s “Rush”, Wicked’s “Hercules”, Sin City’s “Paradise Lost” – great release parties. The cast members of the three movies including stars Devon, Barrett, Alexa Rae, Julia Ann, Evan Stone, Sydnee Steele and Mr. Marcus were all present at least one of the parties. There were also rare appearances by Rebecca Bardot, LaTia Lopez, Bionca, Kiki Daire and hundreds of others.

Rush

Digital Playground premiered Rush starring Devon at the Beverly Club in Beverly Hills on September 9. Nic Andrews states he came up with the plot idea as he was recovering from a motorcycle accident and stuck at home on pain killers. He hammered out the script and brought it to Joone who loved it. As a couple’s action movie with hardcore sex it promises to be big.

Press arrived early to eat and talk. We were joined by director/producer Roy Karch. Tod Hunter from AVN, Steve Banan of Turner Broadcasting/Liberty Network, Domonic Accera, Steve Nelson – more came later – Rachel Worth and others were all there to cover the event.

In the screening room I was joined by Ron Jeremy who brought in Andy Dick and party. The movie starts with Mike Horner as a tough old garage mechanic. He gets to work with his secretary Alexa Rae. Get ready for a very hot garage scene with them.

Talked with Bridgette and Skeeter Kerkove who will be filming the 21st on a project of their own but I had to leave early. Saying goodbye I ran into Max Hardcore (who at this time is back in court) talking to the exotic Lezley Zen. Adella was charming with introductions all around with everyone. Some others there included Andre Madness, Nikki Steele, Kiki Daire, Cameron Grant, Anna Mills, Devon (of course), Brad Armstrong, Beth Ann Raphael and Alexa Rae. Hercules

Wicked Pictures’ Hercules release party was at The Garden of Eden in Hollywood. This is a spacious club with a large outdoor patio, several bars, and a private upstairs overlooking the dance floor. It was a mob untill you passed Wicked publicist Daniel Metcalf and entered the club which was very organized in handling the comfortable crowd of industry people and girls who I kept mistaking as talent. The club is impressive, friendly and upscale.

Jonathan Morgan directed Hercules starring Julia Ann and Evan Stone. It’s a porn comedy with a street date of September 12th, 2002. Stars of the movie Julia Ann and Evan Stone were available and talked in the VIP area. The party had an broad mix of people from other companies too. Included were Michael Raven, Sydnee Steele, Roy Karch, Stormy, Mary Carey, Randy Spears, Monique Alexander and others.

Julia and Evan took the mike and got on a go-go dancer’s stage towards the end of the evening and gave away promotional materials, T-shirts, key chains and videos.

Paradise Lost

The Sin City party was at the Las Palmas in Hollywood celebrating the release of Michael Raven’s Paradise Lost starring Julia Ann and Mr. Marcus. The mix was amazing! Nic Andrews, Toni English, Skye Blue, Robert Lombard, Layla Jade, Paul Fishbein of AVN, Slain Wayne, Tabitha Stevens, Jimmy D., Colin Malone, Dasha and Dillon Day, Robert Hererra of Simon Wolf Productions, Beth Ann Raphael and Alexa Rae – there were even more of an eclectic mix of Adult Professionals here than at the Wicked party. Some people had been at one or both of the other parties. There was Julia Ann and Rebecca Bardot talking with Robbie D. and Scott Justice, LaTia Lopez was there, who in spite of still recovering from that very serious car wreck last February is looking great having lost weight and is looking for work. (Don’t loose TOO much, LaTia!)

Las Palmas is a nice enough club, but the music was too loud in the outside smoking area where most people want to talk and they let too many people in. There were many VIPs having trouble getting into the club. Because of the crowd some of the people who may have been security were a bit rude, but management was diligent in keeping the crowd and their own people in line.

All in all this was a great party lacking only the girls of LVNI and Digital Playground giggling in girl-talk together in a back booth.
