Internext Legal Seminar

(HOLLYWOOD, FL) — It doesn’t matter whether it is the summer or winter Internext show, anytime the legal eagles gather for their seminar a crowd turns out.

Thanks to the experts on the panel: Greg Geelan of YNOT, J.D. Obenberger an attorney with Obenberger & Associates out of Chicago, and adult Internet attorney Lawrence Walters the discussion didn’t disappoint.

Early discussion centered around the ongoing scrutiny the Justice department and Congress is giving to the adult Internet industry. The experts warned all webmasters to police themselves, have all their “i’s” dotted and “t’s” crossed. Also brought out was the current rash of child kidnaping cases, and its connection to adult Internet sites. There is NO connection, but the legal experts warned that Ashcroft and company will try to make one.

A Q&A session also brought out some interesting topics, and answers. Of particular to be noted, adult Internet and gambling sites will continue to be the only profitable sites in the coming years. In addition, the defence to adult Internet sites begins with the fact that the adult Internet industry has practically built the Internet. Technology including Pay Pal, online payment processing, educational sites, and bandwidth programs owe their creation and application to technology specifically created for adult sites.

All these issues are to be continued and the fight goes on.
