(SHERMAN OAKS, CA) — For the past 21 years, adult entertainment veteran David Forest has served as the leading manager and agent to stars of the gay XXX genre, but as VH1’s “Driven” will reveal, Forest’s history in entertainment spans back 34 years into the mainstream spotlight.
This Tuesday, July 23rd, at 9:00 pm (PDT), David Forest will a featured guest on VH1’s documentary special, “Driven: Motley Crue.” Forest played an integral part in the hard rock group’s beginning, managing Nikki Sixx’s band, London, which preceded Motley Crue. The manager was also responsible for giving “The Crue” their first booking; two days at famed Hollywood nightclub, Starwood. The VH1 special will be repeated several times over the next few weeks.
Motley Crue is only one of many stars Forest has helped sky-rocket to mainstream success, his impressive resume also boasting the likes of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Shaun Cassidy, and Corbin Bernsen.
Then, this coming Friday, July 26th, at 5:00 pm (PDT), David Forest will make a special guest appearance on “The Young & the Curious” at KSEX Radio. The weekly show, hosted by Jason Sechrest, is a 100% free, listener-interactive, globally broadcast Internet radio program, complete with chat room. Forest will take to the mike to discuss his new enterprise, Forest Films, and will unveil details for the next video project to be shot under his label.
Sam Phillips (Columbia/TriStar’s “Mars/Venus,” Showtime’s “Hot Springs Hotel”) is also scheduled to appear with David Forest on this week’s “Young & the Curious.”
