(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Erotica LA, the 2nd largest adult entertainment tradeshow in California, behind the successful GlamourCon shows, closed on Sunday June 9th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
You know you are at a porn convention when all the handicap parking spaces are filled in the underground parking.
When show promoters were asked what the final tally was for this year’s event, the official release was around 26,000. When show exhibitors were asked what they thought, they all told reporters they believed it more around 12,000-15,000 total. Because this year’s show coincided with the final playoffs for the LA Lakers basketball team on Friday and then the hugely popular boxing match with Lewis and Tyson on Saturday, crowds were down this year. Sunday’s show did bring in the crowds though, also to the fact that the F.O.X.E. (Fans of X-rated Entertainment) awards were being held after this year’s convention downtown that evening.
Of course we hooked up with F.O.X.E. founder, Bill “PapaBear” Margold. He was helping man the Free Speech Coalition booth for the umpteenth time. I hope they appreciate all he does for them. Those guys keep getting money from everyone and from what I hear do nothing to help the industry. “Oooo, they overturned an Internet porn ruling…whoopee.” Isn’t that a case that should have been dealt with by mainstream Hollywood anyway? From what I heard, they didn’t help Seymore Butts, Jeff Steward & and a few others recently. They had to do all their battles themselves in the censorship courtroom arena. That’s BS, but that’s my opinion. Maybe they can explain it to me otherwise. Bill was also helping promote this year’s F.O.X.E. awards that were being held that weekend also. Be sure to see the exclusive video footage on “The Jizz Biz” TV series for some of the hottest footage of this year’s F.O.X.E. Awards show. It was Outrageous!!! My favorite was seeing Michelle St. James eating out Montana Gunn’s pussy and…well..I guess you’ll just have to wait and see the show…

At the .. booth, web model Naked Nicole and porn stars Teri Wiegel and Jodi Moore (this is one super hot lady from Down Under) signed for the booth. The booth also had some of the most controversial news of the show, when it’s signing talent, ex-Wicked Pictures contract girl, Alexa, almost got into fist-to-cuffs with ex-Wicked Pictures contract girl Serenity. The incident all started from some words said over the Internet on a certain gossip site, (not the Jizz Biz). We’ll keep you posted on the results of any future “deathmatchs” with these Wicked ladies.
Speaking of Serenity. In what is becoming a trend, Serenity’s company, Las Vegas Novelties, keeps growing each time I see it. This small company keeps outpacing the bigger companies by having more unique and new product each time it appears in public. Also, they keep signing more and more hot models to work with them. The company roster keeps growing with Christi Lake, Jewel De’Nyle, Jacklyn Lick, Kylie Ireland, Angel Veil, Heather Bankx, Chloe and now exotic newcomer Alexis Amore. They also have one of the sexiest PR ladies in the biz, Seth McCoy (does that sound like I’m sucking up…actually she is super hot)! I have to say they had the best new product at the convention. Of the major players, all video company production booths brought the crowds. I saw the Wicked Pictures’ booth, where contract performers Julia Ann and Devinn Lane signed for the fans. If it wasn’t for Julia Ann, I wouldn’t have given Wicked a second glance. Not the cutting edge company it used to be, but I still love you Julia. By far, still the sexiest porn star around! Wicked Pictures PR queen, Joy King, was up and walking around. She was in a wheelchair at this last January’s Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. Something about getting into a car crash. Everyone thought she was a gimp for sure, and talks of “Karma” floated all around the convention floor. But it looks like there is a forgiving God, so she was up and walking. I sure miss the days of Jenna Jameson when she attended the first Erotica LA with Serenity to promote the company. BTW, Jenna was in New York on the Howard Stern show and we all missed her.

Saw the event’s Original creator, Ron Miller Aka porn stud Don Hollywood with his sexy wife Brooke Hunter. She just got her new website up at BrookeHunter.com She also was promoting a virtual sex DVD at the show that “I should be getting a sample of” soon…wink…wink! Ron/Don had some interesting things to say about the convention….but you’ll have to wait to see them later on “The Jizz Biz” TV show. Now that’s the interview to look forward too.
Tawny Roberts in hot pants (See photo below in Sherman’s article [on JizzBiz.TV]) and fuck me go-go boots, signed at the VCA booth…since she is their contract girl. I got to get up close to her at the F.O.X.E. awards show and saw her Perfect naked body! God! I could now die a happy man!
