Porno Girl Action Figures

(VAN NUYS, CA) — Leading adult film, video and DVD company Vivid Entertainment Group has granted a license to doll maker Plastic Fantasy, Inc. to create the first series of adult action figure dolls based on the world famous Vivid Girls.

The 7 1/2 inch, anatomically correct figures will be exact likenesses of adult superstars Briana Banks, Taylor Hayes and Kobe Tai and will be available in stores nationwide by February 2003 at a suggested retail price of $17.99. Computer scanning of Ms. Banks and Ms. Hayes will take place at Cyber FX in Glendale, California on Wednesday, June 26th (12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.) using Plastic Fantasy’s proprietary xXxScan(tm) process.

Ms. Banks is a candidate for 2003 Penthouse Pet of the Year and is a co-star with Jenna Jameson of the best-selling video and DVD “Briana Loves Jenna.” Ms. Hayes is the acclaimed star of “Fade to Black,” which captured a record eight awards this year at the AVN Awards Show, as well as top honors from the XRCO (X-Rated Critics Organization) and Adam Film Awards. Ms. Tai is an American-born Asian whose talent and exotic beauty have made her a favorite of adult film fans around the world.

Each action figure doll will be dressed in a highly detailed costume, removable to reveal her most intimate features. Each will wear a miniature replica of the gold and diamond Vivid Girl necklace. The arms and heads will be moveable and the figures will be posed on a “movie star” production set stage that will include lights and a camera.

Plastic Fantasy has already proven it’s ability to create and produce a successful adult action figure. The entire limited run of it’s Jenna Jameson doll, introduced last April, sold out within weeks and the figure is already a collector’s item.

The xXxScan process operates on a state-of-the-art computer system that uses a laser to capture 512 separate high-resolution pictures of the subject during scanning. The pictures, which show details down to 2.5 millimeters in size, are then converted into a three-dimensional model that is used to create the doll.

“Plastic Fantasy is thrilled to be entering into this deal with Vivid Entertainment,” said Jerry Mancaluso, President of Plastic Fantasy. “Just as Vivid has always been the leading innovator in the adult film world, we feel we are trendsetters in a new marketplace that is only going to continue to grow. The Vivid Girls are icons and what better way to pay tribute to that than to give them their own dolls. We expect this venture to be very successful for both companies and I think it will only lead to a greater mainstream presence for the adult film stars we are immortalizing.” He said distribution will be through comic/specialty toy stores, adult stores, the Hustler retail stores, the Internet and possibly through mass market retailer outlets.
