(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) — The woman who “put the star in pornstar,” Jenna Jameson, lit up the red carpet when she attended the live premiere of Korn’s “Untouchables” album at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Monday, June 10th. Two days later she flipped from rock to pop when she watched girlfriend Britney Spears perform Wednesday night at the America West Arena in Phoenix. The world’s leading adult film actress caused a major stir when she appeared from backstage at Britney’s concert.
Ms. Jameson was swarmed by paparazzi when she arrived Monday at the midtown Manhattan dance hall for the Korn event on the arm of adult director Justin Sterling. Korn introduced its new album at the world’s first-ever live, digitally broadcast launch party. When she came to the rail of the balcony overlooking the crowd, people spotted her and started a chant of “Jen-nah! Jen-nah! Jen-nah!” She took a bow and the crowd went wild. The event was simulcast in 40 movie theaters in 30 different cities in the U.S. And was also broadcast live over New York’s hottest rock station, 92.3 K-Rock.
Jenna has always been a big fan of Britney and she showed her support in her hometown of Phoenix. As Jenna and Justin were ushered by security to their stage side seats the crowd of mostly young female fans immediately started rushing to her seat for pictures and autographs. They recognized her from her many appearances in music videos, on magazine covers and on national television shows. Said Jenna, “I think their enthusiasm is another sign of a major crossover that has happened between adult and mainstream over the past year. I hope to continue the crusade.” Todd Barowsky, owner of the famous Cat Eye lounge, said, “I don’t know who signed more autographs tonight, Britney or Jenna.”
Erotic images of Jenna, the woman Rolling Stone says “put the star in porn star” flash throughout “Here to Stay,” the huge hit single video from “Untouchables.” “Here to Stay” has already reached the No. 1 spot on MTV’s TRL chart. She also has a featured spot on the top new Eminem music video, “Without Me.”
