Joey & Carlo Pool Party – Idol, LaRue, Vilanch Coming

(PALM SPRINGS, CA) — JoeyandCarlo.com pulled a surprise "triple whammy" today in announcing the involvement of Ryan Idol, Chi Chi LaRue, and Bruce Vilanch for their "2002 Palm Springs Pool Party." the weekend extravaganza will run from Friday, September 20th – Sunday, September 22nd at the Cathedral City Boys Club, a clothing-optional resort in Palm Springs, as a benefit for the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation. All proceeds will go directly to the non-profit organization, best known for keeping the adult industry clean.

Superstar of the gay XXX sex screen and theatre, Ryan Idol, will join Jason Sechrest on Friday evening in hosting "The Underwear Party" from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. The party will kick off the weekend’s festivities as patrons don their favorite pair of boxers or briefs to participate in an amateur wet underwear contest. Idol and Sechrest will reunite during Saturday’s pool party in the JasonCurious.com tent for a live question and answer session. Sechrest will grill the "idol" on everything from his past in gay porn to the hush-hush plans for his highly anticipated comeback film. An autograph session will be held following the interview, and Idol will be on hand to meet and greet with his fans throughout the day.

Adult entertainment impresario, Chi Chi LaRue, will serve as hostess with the mostest throughout Saturday’s pool party festivities from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm. LaRue will work the crowd with the mike like only she can, promoting the event’s long list of sponsors and bringing the stars to the forefront for all to see. LaRue will introduce openly gay comedian and writer, Bruce Vilanch, at some point during the day, to host "The Xxx Star Search" contest. Through a series of questions and a showcase of special talents, Vilanch will have the hottest patrons of the pool party show why they feel they would make a good porn star. The winner of "The Xxx Star Search" will be featured in an upcoming video from Rascal, Chi Chi LaRue’s division of Channel 1 Releasing.

This year’s pool party will carry a circus theme with arcade games, snow cone machines, dunk tanks, and more. After the wild and crazy fun of Friday and Saturday, patrons can gather with the stars on Sunday morning from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm for "The Farewell BBQ," probably better known as "The Hangover BBQ."
