(LOS ANGELES, CA) — in a statement issued today, John Chambliss, CEO of the Simon Wolf Organization announced that the firm has launched a free website, SimonWolfDVD.com, which is designed for domestic wholesalers, DVD internet retail, hotel buyers, reviewers and international clients.
Chambliss commented, “SimonWolfDVD.com will be available for the next two weeks to all users with the username – wolf and password – 1234. Following this introduction period, the site will remain free, but users will be assigned individual entry codes. An age qualifier also allows the presentation of materials in the actual form they’ll ultimately be presented to buyers and reviewers, as opposed to ‘watered-down’ cable versions.
We have created this site to introduce Simon Wolf entertainment to our customer and reviewer bases, both here and internationally. It features actual trailers, ad campaigns, casts, synopses, runtimes and reviews on our programs all segmented by release periods, including the current month, past, subsequent, plus those in release for more than sixty days.
A special feature is an option for viewers to watch trailers at a delivery rate set for DSL and T-1 users, or at a slightly lower speed for modem users.
Another special feature, Projects in Development, allows viewers to see the various projects we have in post, as well as those set for production within the next several months.
SimonWolfDVD.com is the perfect sales tool to introduce people to the total value of entertainment we create – as opposed to merely presenting box cover art on an order form. We are very proud of the programs we produce, and anxious to demonstrate all facets of the broad selling power they represent.
And perhaps of greatest importance, it is ‘user-friendly’. It’s no secret that Simon is not particularly ‘computer literate’, and he wanted a website that anyone can use including himself.”
