(SHERMAN OAKS, CA) — Starting next Thursday May 23 and every Thursday thereafter from 8-9 pm there will be substance abuse recovery meetings at AIM Healthcare for Adult Industry members in recovery from addiction to alcohol and drugs.
As this is a closed meeting we welcome anyone seeking recovery who is a member of the Adult Industry. Because this meeting is closed to those not in the Adult Entertainment field we are not recognized as a Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous or Cocaine Anonymous meeting, but as individual members of various 12 step programs seeking recovery through each other’s experience, strength and hope.
[Please note this is a closed meeting only for members of the Adult Industry, those both in front of and behind the cameras, sex workers, dancers and adult entertainers who find it hard to share in rooms where they are afraid of being judged for their occupation.]
