(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Goldie DeWitt, sitting comfortably in his Limo sipping Champaign with his Angels, can’t help but laugh when told that some people refer to him as the biggest pimp out there.
“I would have taken serious offense to that a couple of years ago,” says Goldie, wearing his customary diamond flooded 1 Down necklace charm, a huge gold bracelet, and an enormous gold ring with the initials M.O.B. In diamonds. “Now I know that means my web site is doing well.”
Even at his age, the 1down.com founder, who turns 30 on Saturday, is as vibrant as ever. He’s trim and healthy, which he attributes to taking everything in moderation. Everything, that is, except his girlfriend & Angels.
Haven & Goldie have been together for 8 years, and he’s up to seven Angels now, and they’ll all surround him Saturday when he throws himself a lavish birthday party on Saturday May 18, 2002 at Las Palmas in Hollywood, CA. Although seven is a lucky number, he says he didn’t pick it intentionally. Nor does he have plans to add more Angels.
“There really isn’t enough room in the limousine,” says the Champaign-chugging Goldie.
So how does it all work?
“They’re all close friends,” he says. “It’s a typical friendship, times seven.”
Goldie’s Angels – Nicolette, Burgundy, Destiny, Sage, Daylene, Lexus and Sylvia – range in age from 22 to 28. He parades the beauties down the red carpet at awards shows and takes them dancing at Hollywood clubs a few times a month.
