(BEVERLY HILLS, CA) — TY Management, a well-known, long-respected talent management company offering a diverse roster of actors, actresses, and models, has announced that Christine “Chrissy” Sparks will make her big-screen acting debut in the upcoming motion picture Night Creep. She plays the feature role of dancer Cindy Cinnamon, opposite film veteran Don Califa (Weekend at Bernie’s, 1941). The horror-comedy picture was produced, directed, and written by long-time moviemaker Greg Travis. Sparks is part of TY Management’s Mystique Models division.
“We couldn’t be prouder of Chrissy,” commented Tabetha Yang, president of TY Management. “She is an unbelievably versatile talent. She has enjoyed great success already in her young career, having played lead or principle roles in television and radio programs, theatrical productions, and dance companies as well as appearing in print ads. We fully expect that her performance in Night Creep will bring a tremendous amount of attention to her. And deservedly so.”
A Pennsylvania-native, Sparks became a member of the TY team two years ago, looking to build her career opportunities. “I was just kind of going through the motions,” she said. “I was getting work, but not advancing or growing like I wanted. Tabetha was recommended to me as someone that could help me further develop my skills and increase my chances at landing more and better roles. She didn’t make any promises, but said if I worked hard, good things will come. There is no question in my mind that with her help and encouragement my career is moving up.”
Night Creep is a tale of terror and woe. In the role of Cindy Cinnamon, Sparks plays a dancer at a strip club, who falls under the power of a new drug called Night Creep. She soon believes that she is being molested by her elderly landlord. Is she in fact being so or is it the effects of the drug? About her role, Sparks commented, “It’s a role that came naturally to me and was very emotional.”
Besides acting, the multi-talented Sparks has had extensive training and successes in dance (ballet, jazz, theatrical), voice (singing, voice over), and modeling. The photogenic beauty has been shot by photographers for a slew of magazines, including Playboy and Penthouse. She also has served as a stylist in the making of several music videos. An aspiring photographer, she took virtually all of the ‘behind-the-scenes’ snap shots during the filming of Night Creep.
