(VAN NUYS, CA) — Digital Playground received 2 of 4 DVD awards presented by Adam Film World Guide magazine. Island Fever, starring Tera Patrick was named Best DVD and Virtual sex with Devon, featuring Devon in her debut performance for Digital Playground, was named Best Interactive DVD. Both awarded titles were directed by Joone and feature Digital Playground’s exclusive contract superstars.
Adam Film World Guide’s 25th annual award issue honors erotic contributions made in 2001. The categories are chosen and titles are nominated and voted on by critics and editors of Adam Film World Guide and it’s subsidiary publications. Editor Jeremy Stone says it’s not odd in a year like 2001 for 50% of the DVD awards to go to one company when the company is Digital Playground.
Adam Film World s Best DVD accolade marks Digital Playground’s 7th award for Island Fever. Previous accolades include: 2001 Best Renting Tape of the Year, AVN 2001 Best Editing, AVN 2001 Best Selling DVD, Empire 2001 Best Video Quality, Empire 2001 Best All sex DVD, Empire 2001 Best DVD, Nightmoves.
Adam Film World’s Best Interactive DVD accolade is the 3rd award for Virtual sex with Devon, marking another hat trick for a Digital Playground title. Virtual sex with Devon was also named 2001 Best Interactive DVD at AVN and Empire award shows.
