(VAN NUYS, CA) — "Fade to Black" from Vivid Entertainment swept the 2001 Adam Film World Awards for Excellence in Erotic Entertainment. The honors were announced in the Annual Porn Awards issue of Adam Film World Guide XXX Illustrated, out on newsstands and delivered to subscribers this week.
Adam Film World named "Fade to Black" the Best Adult Film for 2001. Its director, Paul Thomas, was named Best Director of the year; star Taylor Hayes was named Best Actress in a Film; and Jane Waters was given the Best Cinematography award.
The Adam Film World kudos are the latest in a series of honors for "Fade to Black," which garnered eight awards at the AVN Awards show in Las Vegas in January and the XRCO awards in April. "Fade to Black" is available in both VHS and DVD formats.
"More and more adult Americans are choosing erotica as a form of entertainment and there’s so much crossover now," said Adam Film World senior editor Jeremy Stone.
Other Vivid winners in the Adam Film World awards were Best Actor in Film to Randy Spears for "Bad Wives 2;" Best Supporting Actress in Film to Sydnee Steele in "Marissa" and Best Anal sex Scene to Raylene and Mr. Marcus and his Homeboys in "MI Vida."
