(VANCOUVER CANADA) — Open since 1947, the Penthouse is the oldest showroom club in Canada boasting 55 years in business. Located in the heart of Vancouver’s busy downtown, the Penthouse is also the first Vancouver based business to run a pizza oven, and probably the first strip club to feature some of the worlds top house DJ’s such as David Alvarado.
From 12 noon – 2:00 a.m. at least 4 – 6 stage dancers rotate, performing 18 minute fully costumed shows. Yes, this is Canada where center stage often commands every member of the audience’s attention. Stripper Entertainment supplies the talent -Strippernet.com Currently the Penthouse is constructing private booths, which will offer a more intimate experience with some of Canada’s finest exotic entertainers. Another attraction is their annual Penthouse Dance Competition drawing in large numbers of exotic dance admirers, who enjoy elaborate stage shows with themed costumes.
In 1996, shortly after I retired from dancing, I was given the opportunity to perform in an exotic dance review, complete with choreographers from New York, and LA. Granted my decision to stop dancing, I couldn’t pass this up, and I became one of six members of the “Diva’s”.
We rehearsed for weeks and our opening night was at the legendary Penthouse. It was a sold out show, and we started a trend that continued for several years afterwards.
I personally want to congratulate the Penthouse for being the first in so many areas, and I invite you to experience their exotic nights!
