(VAN NUYS, CA) — Members of the adult industry are cordially invited to attend the Free Speech Coalition General Meeting on April 4th at 6:00 Pm at the Airtel Plaza Hotel located in Van Nuys at 7277 Valjean Avenue.

The special guest speakers will discuss legalities as they relate to obscenity in adult film, video and digital mediums, novelties and live entertainment. As new laws are passed and new governments come into office, the new guidelines and boundaries will prove to be invaluable to everyone employed in the sex industry.

Knowledge of this material will be key to the future of adult entertainment. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to engage in a special question and answer format at the end of the lecture.

These special guest speakers are experts in the prosecution and defense of the First Amendment issues that will have lasting effect on the adult industry.

o Ramona Ripston is the Executive Director of the ACLU of Southern California. The ACLU is the largest recognized organization fighting on behalf of our civil liberties and Ramona Ripston is responsible for the direction of it s most important chapter.

o Michelle Anderson is Los Angeles Deputy city attorney in the Special Enforcement Office. It is within her department that the City of Los Angeles will prosecute obscenity, as it deems necessary.

o Roger Jon Diamond is the noted First Amendment Attorney who recently produced a victory in one of the first LA obscenity cases in a decade.

This is a major meeting with important political overtones. Please join us in the presentation of a strong, united industry. It is critical that your company is represented strongly at this gathering; please send as many of your employees as you can afford. Your presence will contribute to and affect the way the government reacts to lobbyists both for and against the adult industry. In order to effect changes in our favor, government, at all levels, must recognize that we are responsible for a significant tax revenue and that we are a powerful voting force in local, state, and national elections. On behalf of the Free Speech Coalition and the entire adult industry, we anticipate and welcome your feedback and support.

These informative and educational presentations will help set the tone for the years ahead. The most successful companies in the adult industry use information obtained from the Free Speech Coalition. This is a wonderful opportunity to assert your position in, and join the ranks of, the adult entertainment industry as we continue to demand mainstream inclusion. Personnel and CEOs from top video producers, Digital Playground, Private, VCA, Vivid and Wicked, as well as Internet moguls, BabeNet and Cybererotica, plus the leaders in adult novelties, California Exotic Novelties, Doc Johnson and Topco Sales and the reigning dance club circuits, Déjà Vu and Spearmint Rhino, along with the industries biggest stars and brightest talents, from Nina Hartley and Jane Hamilton to today s Tera Patrick, understand the impact this meeting will have. Whatever your niche, your attendance and input will contribute to the tone that is set and the path that is paved by the adult industry. Make your mark.
