(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Dion Giarrusso, owner of upstart hardcore company Red Light District, will return to directing in early January. Giarrusso previously directed many of Elegant Angel’s most celebrated gonzo titles during his tenure with the company from mid-1997 through the fall of 2001. He’s spent the last several months launching his new production company and concentrating on sales and general management issues. He says he looks forward to returning behind-the-camera again and being on the “front line” of production.
“I have two concepts for new lines that I am interested in exploring,” says Giarrusso. “Both lines tap into underutilized themes in porn. For now, that’s all the information I’ll give. I plan to direct, time permitting, between 4-6 movies a year for my company.”
Giarrusso’s company, Red Light District, is quickly developing a reputation as a premiere resource for hardcore wall-to-wall, gonzo sex action. Red Light District currently releases three titles a month and will increase to four beginning in February. The company lines include: Black Dicks in White Chicks, 110 % Natural, Just over 18, Black on Black (available January 21), Young Tight Latinas, Cum Swapping Sluts (available February 4), Straight to the a (available February 18) and Throat Gaggers (available February 25). All Red Light District titles have simultaneous DVD release. The company is also the exclusive distributor for Vouyer Productions, Vince Vouyer’s self-owned production label, which includes the lines Cum Drippers (internal cum shots) and the pro-am Breakin’ ‘Em in (available January 14).
