(LONDON, ENGLAND) — Sex.tv Ltd has retained former Sex.com lead attorney Charles Carreon as its legal representation in relations with the Island of Tuvalu and The .tv Corporation, provider of addresses ending in .tv.
Charles Carreon successfully represented Gary Kremen in his groundbreaking lawsuit against defendant Steve Cohen over ownership of the Sex.com domain name, one of the most valuable pieces of Internet real estate in this multi billion dollar industry.
"We have received communication from the .tv Corporation that they have pre sold the SEX.TV domain name, a name that we licensed and operate. We are concerned about the manner in which the .tv Corporation is conducting business and feel that Charles is best suited to represent our interests in this matter." Said Fintan O’Rourke, President, SEX.TV Ltd.
"Based on my experiences with SEX.COM, I know than Internet domain names can be extremely valuable, and that SEX.TV will likely be one of the greats. Domain names are property, and property law applies in cyberspace, just like anywhere else. I choose cases based on their potential for setting groundbreaking precedent, and this case has tremendous potential."
Among its various operations including pay sites, channel licensing and managed service consulting, SEX.TV is producing and hosting the coveted 2002 AVN Awards Show Web cast (www.avnawards.com), dubbed the "Oscars for Adult" as a live free world record breaking event on January 11, 2002.

About The .tv Corporation
In 1999, Los Angeles-based .TV Corporation scored what seemed a Clever coup — buying the "country-code" address of the obscure island nation of Tuvalu — which conveniently abbreviated to ".TV" in the language of the Internet, for a cool $50 Million. Some $30 Million plus reportedly remains unpaid on the original price, and rumours have percolated in recent months. European investors who hazarded registration fees on .TV names in Large numbers have watched recent developments at the company with concern.
