In a statement issued today, Robert Herrera, Production Chief for Simon Wolf Productions, announced the completion of principal photography on two new Simon Wolf features, BLUE ANGEL and LOVE AT FIRST BYTE.
"Both features are flavored by Simon’s brand of special effects, deliver strong casts headed by Asia Carrera, and are directed by Bud Lee. And yes, they most definitely typify the quality that audiences have come to expect from high-budget Simon Wolf productions."
John Chambliss, CEO of Simon Wolf Productions, also commented. "BLUE ANGEL is the first in a series of co-productions that we will produce in association with Jill Kelly Productions, while LOVE AT FIRST BYTE is Simon’s first feature production created for our own distribution. We will follow it in January with the production of ESCORT SERVICE FROM HELL and MAGIC SEX, then begin on his most ambitious project to date, LEGEND OF WOLF CREEK A Love Story Like No Other, that will feature wolves, horses and a very large grizzly bear."
Bob Friedland, CEO of Jill Kelly Productions, was generous in his praise for BLUE ANGEL. "For some time now, we’ve wanted to associate with Simon Wolf, and this production is beyond even my expectations. The man’s uncanny ability to make his imagination come alive on the screen is simply beyond my comprehension. JKP plans to premiere BLUE ANGEL in February with an extensive publicity and marketing campaign that Simon’s people are now creating."
JKP’s Vice President, Jeff Krull, was also exuberant. "As you may know, Simon and I are old pals, and I see the guy’s work getting better and better. I didn’t think he could top A DEVIL’S TAIL, but after screening a rough cut of BLUE ANGEL, I gotta’ tell you that he most definitely has. I read a reviewer comment a couple of weeks ago praising Simon as being at the top of his field. Hell, he hasn’t even started yet. "
