(LOS ANGELES, CA) — The NuArt Theatre at 11272 Santa Monica Blvd saw the screening of a documentary on the life of the most recognized man in porn, Ron Jeremy. Adult Stars like Alisha Klass, Shanna McCollough and Sid Deuce were some who came to see the movie and show their support.
Directed by Scott Gill, the documentary was edited together in an entertaining and humorous fashion showing Jeremy in a light that mainstream America should have seen long ago. Just as his close friends have seen him for years, he was depicted as the warm caring man that liked to entertain people.
The film highlights interesting facts about Ron’s life like him having a Masters Degree from Queens College in New York for special education, never contracting an STD from working in the Adult Industry and other fascinating insights into who this man really is. See the movie! It will be playing at the NuArt through December 6.
The after party was at the Sunset Room, an always-busy nightclub in Hollywood. Club capacity is 777 and according to Natalie, the manager, there were 750 people there tonight. Dinner? Try reservations a week in advance on Wednesday, their least crowded night.
Before Ron and his entourage arrived two girls with hula-hoops were dancing in a fluid freestyle on the dance floor. Ron came in through a private entrance and made his way through the VIP room where there were more Mainstream people than Adult. One could only tell where Ron was from across the club by the flash from cameras lighting the dance floor in brief bursts like lightning during a storm. “Porn Star – The Legend Of Ron Jeremy” is his stepping stone to a more mainstream recognition.
