Warren Cuccurullo formerly of Duran Duran, Missing Persons and Frank Zappa has left Duran Duran and moved here to Los Angeles to pursue the business venture of his Internet site www.warrencuccurullo.com/ (www.musicandsex.tv/).
This promising venture has already proven itself to be a lucrative endeavor for Warren. He averages approximately 25,000+ hits a week and was found by www.dotmusic.com/ to be #149 out of 2,000 of the best Rock and Roll sites, Duran Duran being #17.
Warren offers downloads of his music in the free area of his site, and in his member section he is editing self shot footage of sex scenes to his music with an exceptional finished product. 1978: joins Frank Zappas band
1980: forms Missing Persons.
1983: appears in Playgirl magazine feature
1986: joins Duran Duran
Dec 2000: WC becomes 1st rock star to be featured nude in a magazine with an erection. (G magazine, Brasil)
June 2001: performed for the last time with Duran Duran in Tokyo & Kobe, Japan. This was the end of a 15-year partnership as songwriter, guitarist, producer & arranger.
July 2001: reformed Missing Persons, played 3 shows in Los Angeles, including 2 new songs in the set.
July 2001: met with Hustler magazine founder Larry Flynt to discuss the possibility of Hustlers Adult Toy division being the manufacturer of WC’s penis replica product, the Rock Rod.
July 2001: met with California Exotic Novelties president Susan Colvin & secured a deal to manufacture the Rock Rod.
August 2001: launched www.musicandsex.tv , a subscription site featuring new music by WC every month, a section called Come Clean Q&A, where WC is interviewed in the shower, sex clips starring WC, at times cut to music, other sex clips are dialogue only. Members of the site have total access to the artist through chat rooms, & message boards. Archival footage of solo performances is featured every month as well.
August 2001:negotiated worldwide record deal with One Way records. November 2001 will see the release of 2 solo albums by WC. One of the records is called Road Rage, which is a collection of live performances featuring lots of hard rock guitar; the other release is more of an ethnic/ambient project featuring the Indian violinist, Shankar.
Sept. 2001: underwent the molding process to create the Rock Rod penis replica product. The entire process was documented on video.
Oct. 2001: launched the download area of www.musicandsex.tv where nonmembers can download all of WC’s music and videos since the site began.
