(HOLLYWOOD, CA) — “Porn Star: The Legend of Ron Jeremy,” a documentary about the best-known adult film actor in history, will receive a 50-city release starting Nov. 30 in New York and Los Angeles.
“Porn Star” is the life story of Jeremy, a somewhat homely former high school teacher from Long Island who has more than 650 porn films to his credit. Jeremy’s notoriety also has led to appearances in mainstream films such as “Detroit Rock City” and upcoming “The Rules of Attraction.”
“Porn Star,” directed by Scott Gill, has spent the last 11 months on the festival circuit. Jeremy will accompany the film as it makes its rollout around North America. He is scheduled to be interviewed by Barbara Walters Nov. 27 on her ABC morning show “The View.”
