(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Wild Velvet’s first ever EROCKTICA was a huge success this past Friday night. EROCKTICA was launched as a way to effectively expose Wild Velvet’s Patented Pre-Paid Card System to the public and entertainment industries alike.

Says, Tim Goddard (Marketing Director for IBE Corp.- Wild Velvet’s parent company) “The entire online entertainment industry, from video retailers like Blockbuster to the major adult product stores will eventually carry our patented Pre-Paid Card System. This is just the next step towards a national distribution agenda”.

The Porn and Rock Industries united in this fun, hybrid showcase of talent.

From the moment the guests, media, and stars arrived you knew this wasn’t like anything you had ever attended. With two giant skylights rotating and photographers flash bulbs popping the enthusiasm was in the air from the start. The media turned out in force, but with the ‘maestro of media coordination’ Steve Banan handling the media and stars, things couldn’t have gone more smoothly.

The event location the Conga Room included two floors. Downstairs Delicious Nuevo Mexican cuisine offered casual dining and industry mixing. While upstairs the stars mingled among the hard rockers, the old school jams of DJ Cisko and the very talented vocals of ‘Nine’. Broadcasting live in the middle of it all was the hilarious Wankus of Ksex Radio (who also very capably doubled as MC for the evenings events), and his lovely counter parts Samantha Sterlyng, Jacklyn Lick, Tasha Welsh and Lorrianiac Summers. A special thanks goes out to Mike Rick of Ksex Radio and for his early participation

Four great Southern California bands took turns entertaining the Capacity crowd at the main stage. The Jolly Lamas catchy lyrics and driving guitars hooked the swarms of Rock and Porn fans alike; at least until the next in a parade of Adult Stars came strolling by. Picking up where they left off, Rayko appeared on the main stage with thoroughly punked out red, white, and blue hair and a sweet, sexy, powerful voice and solid, inspiring performance from the band.

When it was time for the headlining band “Common Sense”, the Adult Stars just had to get into the act. Eyes opened and jaws dropped as the beautiful, huge breasted, blonde bombshell Alexis King sent the crowd into a frenzy with her “topless feature” much to lead-singer Nick Hernandez’ amusement. Next, Calli Cox and Belladonna jumped into the act, gyrating and bumping to one of Common Senses’ more reggae sounding tunes. Not to be out done, gorgeous Nicole Moore, escorted by Hottie Hot left the usually un-shakable L.A. music scene with something to talk about when they took the stage with the band.

Rounding out the main stage entertainment was Captain Pants who gave a high-energy “Henry Rollins style performance”, complete with intense guitar riffs, to leave things on a high note. Tim Sweeney & Associates music industry support and expertise were instrumental in the conducting of a smooth event.

Celebrities, press and adult talent could be found everywhere throughout the venue, laughing, dancing and having a great time. Celebrities Joey Fatone (N’Sync), Gene Simmons (Kiss), Paulie Shore, and others were spotted in their incognito attire. The press had a field day, interacting as casually as I have ever seen with the stars and audience alike. Signs were posted everywhere informing the crowd that filming would take place – which didn’t seem to faze anyone. Instead, fans couldn’t wait to pose with the stars. Soul Train, AVN, Larry Flynt Productions, Playboys’ Sexcetera, BonVue, Adult Press, LA Nitelife, Revolt In Style Magazine, Quixtyle, the Liberty Network, Elegant Angel Productions, Luc Wylder, Ken Marcus, LA Weekly, New Times, AINews (Steve Nelson) and many others came away from the event with Great content for their audiences.

While in the V.I.P. room outrageous interviews with Adult Stars went on all night. Filming from ground zero of the event, the crew from Adult Stars Magazine was especially fun with their broadcast ‘Sexfiles’, which included (Don Benn, Nikki Steele, Buddy “Love” Freidman and all the stars that were eager to get in front of their cameras). Jeff Cartright (Adult Stars Magazine) deserves a thank you for his marvelous support.

Sean Micheals (the consummate professional), Ron Jeremy, Jack Napier, Mark Davis, Herschel Savage, Max Hardcore, Mr. Marcus, Dino Bravo, Alexander & Diana DeVoe, Keri Starr, Catalina, Alexandra Quinn, Anna Mills, Rebecca Bordeaux, Gina Ryder, Melissa Monet, Gia Darling, Sunset Thomas, Sharon Mitchell, Wanda Curtis, Monica Mayhem, Felicia, Alexandra Silk and a number of others were among the crowds.
