(VAN NUYS, CA) — In a statement issued today, Jeff Krull, Director of PHE Wholesale & Licensing and Head of Adam & Eve Interactive DVD, announced a simultaneous release date of September 27, 2001 for the special DVD Twin Set and Home Video of Simon Wolf’s Beauty And The Bitch.
Krull was generous in his praise for Simon Wolf’s latest creation. "The beautiful thing about this guy is that once you think his imagination can’t get any better, he’s off in a different direction with another huge hit. This time, he tosses a rich bitch into a macabre dimension ruled by a weird old man, a giant and his magical guardian.
Elaborating on one of the feature’s most acclaimed scenes, Krull said, "Wait until you see the big battle between two demonic gunfighters and this magical character, Murph. Think I can safely say that no one has ever done anything like it before. This is Simon Wolf at his best."
Commenting on the Bonus Materials packed into BEAUTY AND THE BITCH, Krull was equally enthusiastic. Robert Herrera, Production Chief for Simon Wolf Productions emphasized the new level of special effects delivered in BEAUTY AND THE BITCH. "The production was in post for two months before the special effects work even began. Their development required another three months and the installation of new computer programs that actually carry audiences into a realm of reality never before contemplated by the adult arena."
Herrera went on to praise the feature’s leading actress, Inari Vachs. "Inari is magnificent to work with – her acting skills and natural sense of sexuality was exactly what we needed to breath life into Simon’s story."
And as with A WOLF’S TAIL, Krull praised Wolf’s expertise in story development.
