(NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA) — North Hollywood will rock on Wednesday morning, September 5, 2001, as Warren Cuccurullo creates the mold for his infamous adult toy. We’re one step closer now to being able to experience Warren’s "cuccurullo" as he has signed a deal for production with California Exotic Novelties [http://CalExotics.com].
No one is sure yet what the name will be (we all liked "Rock Cock" but it may have to be "Rock Rod" or something equally radio-friendly). Warren says, "I’m planning on having a good old-fashioned ‘pricknik’ down at the molding factory on Wednesday. There will be lots of ‘fluffing’ going on, and it will all be documented for MUSICandSEX.tv [the "Private Parts" area of Warren’s site] and also for future retail release."
About Warren: Born December 8, 1956, Warren grew up in Canarsie (on 92nd St. and 94th St.), a neighborhood in Brooklyn (New York City) and began playing guitar when he was nine. During his teens, when he wasn’t working for his father, Warren was playing music. He started out on drums and quickly switched to guitar, jamming with his brother and his friends in his basement.
"I tried to stay adventurous in my music," Warren says about this time period, going on to list several of his early influences (Beatles, Stones, Monkees, Motown, blues, Johnny Winter, Alvin Lee, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, John McLaughlin, Coltrane, and Miles Davis). He found someone very adventurous to emulate — Frank Zappa. "By 1973, I was a diehard fan," he says. He graduated from Canarsie High School in the class of 1974. He has also been a member of Duran Duran and Missing Persons and toured with Frank Zappa.
