To The Editor of AI News:
As you all know or have come to know in this last year. WP&A-Adult News has been devoted to you the adult entertainment industry. We have accepted your press releases, advertised your products, your websites and have done this totally for free. Zipo, we have never asked for a dime. Some have asked how can you do this, it must cost you a pretty penny. I’m here to tell you it does! But not so much the greenbacks. It cost me in my heart. I personally have nothing to gain, but have for twenty-three years given allot. I have been talked about for my short and sometimes overwhelming New York temper, but have been respected for my power, my good deeds and the people I associate with. I have been told that I am a man that will take no bull from anyone. That is true, but I am always ready and willing to listen.
In an industry, that has had its problems and difficulty in the past. I am glad to see that we have been able to survive. Allot of the young directors and new producers of adult material come into this industry with different and unique ideas. This has advanced it, to where it is today. Not to say that the matriarchs of the past, haven’t led the way. It would be a crime, if we let it all fall apart and return ten year in the past.
Myself, the staff of The Liberty Network and WP&A-Adult News has been totally committed to the adult entertainment industry in its entirety. The owners, directors, producers, talent and employees. Many that we truly can call our friends. Some have sent in email telling us that you have your first cup of coffee in the morning with WP&A-Adult News. Others have said keep up the great work, if it weren’t for you guys we wouldn’t know what the hell was going on out there. We plan to continue! Our goals are set, like a racehorse with blinders on.
We have received many comments in the last few months, regarding The Internix Show in Vegas. "I’m not going to pay those prices." "What is that show going to give me?" "AVN is crazy for charging those prices." The Liberty Network has requested press passes from AVN, to cover the show and report back to you on the convention. To our surprise and amazement we were refused this right by Erin, in charge of convention services at AVN. Unfortunately, because of there actions we will not be reporting to you. Furthermore it is unbelievable that AVN would take this stand against The Liberty Network, a company that has proven to you the adult entertainment industry, it’s legitimacy, non-beneficial superiority and our sincere and genuine respect. Something that Adult Video News and its subsidiaries have to learn. By their actions they have stopped the news being reported to you, from and outside legitimate agency and shielded themselves.
I am aware by the editorial I have just written; I will probably never be in the good graces of Paul Fishbine, his staff at AVN and probably many of you that are reading this. Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be; I believe in you the adult entertainment industry and truly hope that you understand where we are coming from.
With Gods everlasting love and his kind guiding hand, showing us the way. We all will triumph and survive through the Bush administration and the religious right in the years to come.
