(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Bold Magazine, LA’s new alternative monthly magazine, will move forward with an invitation only private party celebration of Bold Magazine’s photo editor Julie Strain’s nude photos of the world’s Most beautiful women. (Hawaiian Tropic, Playboy, Penthouse, Maxim, and Bold models are included in the show) Although many of the photographs are extremely graphic including simulated sexual acts, these photos are not near as controversial as Robert Maplethorpe or even Larry Flynt’s Hustler magazine on the stands nationwide right now.
Brian Theodore, a self proclaimed member of a Religious Right Bible organization has continually threatened Bold Magazine, and the photo show including threats of court ordered injunctions, unauthorized, negative, and threatening e-mail campaigns, and harassment of Bold Magazine employees. Bold Magazine executives and their legal professionals have already countered the activities of this individual and his organization.
Please be assured that the private VIP Celebrity reception and Cocktail show for Bold Magazine’s Julie Strain will continue as scheduled despite the misguided and illegal attempts to stop it.
