(HIGHTSTOWN, NJ) — After the success of this year’s IVD South Florida Warehouse show, IVD National Sales Manager Kim S. is pleased to announced the winner of a random drawing held for the Vivid Director for a day contest — Rich Wolff of TLA Video and Al Rosenkranz, his sales rep.

The contest started October 29th at IVD’s Annual Warehouse Show in New Jersey where it was announced that show attendees and all IVD customers had until November 15th to register and be eligible to enter a contest sponsored by Vivid. The contest rules were simple, retailers had to register and sign an agreement that they would receive Vivid new releases on automatic purchase for 6 months.

The prize of this first-ever Vivid sponsored retailer contest includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations over a weekend and the chance to be director for a day in a Vivid shoot plus a day’s pass to Universal Studios. Both the retailer and his sales rep will be eligible for the prizes.

IVD veteran sales rep, Al Rosenkranz had this to say about winning "I was surprised that I won. Considering the number of retailers who joined the contest, the winner could’ve been anyone. It was actually easy to sign up the majority of my customers since they almost always took Vivid new releases anyway. I just told them that the best case scenario is they make money and get flown to California, worst case scenario is they make money and stay home. You can’t win if you don’t register. So they did."

A pleasantly surprised Rich Wolff, TLA Video owner, had this to say "I am completely shocked that we won. I think the automatic new release program from Vivid worked out really well for us. We were able to obtain Vivid’s excellent new release titles without worrying about missing any of them. I planned to stay on the program even if I didn’t win. I am really excited about my upcoming directorial debut. Many thanks to Vivid and IVD for this wonderful contest!"
