(LONDON) — Texan supermodel Jerry Hall revealed Sunday she had a new man in her life following the break-up of her marriage to Rolling Stone Mick Jagger — and she said he was far too young for her.
The 44-year-old model, who is currently starring in the London stage version of “The Graduate” said she was dating Hollywood film producer George Waud, eleven years her younger.
“He is way, way, way too young for me, but there it is,” she said in the Sunday Telegraph newspaper.
“He’s gorgeous. He’s smart. He’s single. He thinks he isn’t good looking, which makes him all the more attractive.”
Hall’s stormy 22-year relationship with Jagger ended in 1999 after Brazilian model Luciana Morad revealed she had given birth to his son, Lucas. Hall had four children herself with Jagger.
She said she was still very good friends with the 57-year-old rocker, and that even British royalty in the form of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, the Duke and Duchess of York, admired the couple’s new relationship.
“I saw Prince Andrew the other night and there was a real fellow-feeling between us. He said ‘Nobody seems to understand Sarah and me, but Jerry, you know exactly how you can be friends after the marriage is over’.”
Hall’s six-month stint as the middle-aged seductress Mrs Robinson in “The Graduate,” during which she appears naked, comes to an end next month. Despite her performance receiving stinging reviews, Hall said she now adored acting and wanted to do more.
She also shrugged off equally harsh criticism of her figure after one reviewer described her breasts as “two fried eggs in the gloaming.”
“They’re small but they’re perfectly formed,” she told the paper.
