(CHICAGO, Il) — Rick Rockwell, the self-proclaimed multi-millionaire sensation from “Who Wants To Marry A Multi-Millionaire,” appears on the “Jenny Jones” episode titled “You Said Back Then I Was Poor And Plain. Now My Lifestyle Is Off The Chain!” airing Thursday, January 18th (check local listings for time and station).
In the candid interview, Rockwell answers questions about why he decided to go on the “Who Wants To Marry A Multi-Millionaire” show: “The funny part about it is that I went into it as a wide-eyed idealist. Contrary to popular opinion, I didn’t need the publicity. I wasn’t doing it as a publicity stunt; I was really happy and obviously successful with what I was doing. I just thought with 6 billion people in the world; it was too strange not to do it. I’m a real fatalist and I think that things happen for a reason.”
Rockwell tells Jenny about his reaction to seeing his ex-wife, Darva Conger, in Playboy Magazine. He quipped “I’m old-fashioned … I think it’s important to see your wife naked at some point.”
The doomed groom was also asked if he has found true love in spite of the overwhelming publicity surrounding his famed television appearance. Viewers can tune in to “Jenny Jones” to hear his answer.
