(TORONTO) — Porno News Network, a daily, updated adult industry news Web offering aimed at the average Netizen rather than business-to-business trade news readers, launched at Internext and is beginning to pick up strong adult Webmaster interest, says Python Video, who are presenting the package produced by Adult Stars Magazine.
"We’re basically creating daily news, updated daily news content that we’re providing to Webmasters as content for their sites," says Aly at Python Video, who’s responsible for marketing PNN. "The benefits for Webmasters for having this is that it gives their members the sense of being more of an industry insider which a lot of people who are into porn would like."
That includes information on new starlets, breaking government legislation, features on popular porn stars, and other industry-contiguous news for the average Web surfer.
PNN hasn’t been long in the planning, she says, but ASM put the idea together. "They have an awful lot of resources, so we packaged it as content we could produce," she continues. "These are resources they have a lot of access to, people send them information all the time. We’re direct partners, they produce it and (we) sell it."
PNN is offered in both free and paysite versions, "though the free version, as is typical, is covered with banners," Aly says. Webmasters can obtain the package for $499 a month.
