(LAS VEGAS, NV) — D-Money Presents The Player’s Ball, a semi-annual adult webmaster extravaganza known for its high-class venues, legendary music acts, and VIP appearances hits Las Vegas on Saturday, January 6, 2001, at Club C2K, inside of the Venetian Hotel.
Presented by D-Money, promoter and adult webmaster, January’s Player’s Ball is sponsored by Cybererotica and Marketing Firm, with special performances by Doug E. Fresh, Digital Underground and the B-Side Players. D-Money and the Ju Tang Clan will emcee the event. An invitation-only, industry exclusive event scheduled during the Internext Expo, The Player’s Ball is expected to attract nearly 5,000 attendees, including special VIP guests from the music and film industries, high-profile celebrities and sports figures, and a host of the world’s hottest adult entertainers.
Exploding in popularity nearly two years ago, past Player’s Balls have featured such acts as Too Short, Slick Rick, Kid Capri, Parliament Funkadelic, Digital Underground, Fishbone, The Luniz, Long Beach Dub All-Stars (former Sublime members), Ice T, DJ Sasha, DJ Domination, and Eek-A-Mouse. The Ball also has an extensive guest VIP list, including Mike Tyson, Ricky Williams, Trey Parker (of South Park fame), and a host adult webmasters, film producers, and, of course, a plethora of porn stars.
This January’s theme is "A Pimp N’ Ho Pajama Party," and attendees will undoubtedly come dressed for the occasion. "There’s nothing like taking a vintage Rolls Royce limo to a party, red carpet rolled out, and MC Ice-T to greet you at the door, standing there in a pimp outfit! The attendees’ love dressing the part and everyone has a great time. The purpose of this event is to give back to our industry by throwing awesome parties with celebrity guests and big name acts performing," says D-Money, event promoter and adult webmaster. "Right now we’re in the process of putting together a 15-stop Player’s Ball Tour for the mainstream public, sponsored by adult Internet companies, so keep your eyes and ears open. We expect to receive lots of mainstream exposure with the tour."
