Adult DVD Empire has gathered together a group of some of the internet’s top reviewers and critics to aid in the selection of both the nominees and winners. Celebrated reviewer, Diesel, of "Ask The Empire" fame, will lend his opinion, valued by the Empire’s 250,000 plus customers, to the selection process. Rog T. Pipe, 8" Critic and Right Hand Man are among the independent reviewers lending their expertise to the Empire Awards.
Empire employees as well as esteemed critics will be voting for nominees in the following categories: "Best Feature", "Best All-Sex", "Best Gonzo", "Best Classic", "Best Extras", "Best Video Quality", "Best Fetish", "Best Gay", "Best Selling DVD", "Best Overall DVD" and "Best Overall Studio". Additionally, we will be allowing fans and visitors to Adult DVD Empire to choose their own "Fan Favorite" from a list of the most popular and best-selling titles of 2000.
