SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sept. 13, 2000–Ecast, Inc., which provides a platform for delivering and managing broadband entertainment content to smart appliances, has announced that Danni.com, an Internet-based provider of premium adult content, will join the Ecast network. The agreement makes Ecast the only public-venue entertainment network to feature content from subscription-based Danni.com, which receives approximately three million unique visitors each month.

The Guinness Book of World Records recently named Danni Ashe, president of Danni.com, as the most downloaded woman in the history of the Internet. To date approximately 850 million photos of her have been downloaded around the world.

On a pay-per-use basis, Ecast users will be able to access full-motion video and still images of hundreds of female models from the “Models” and “DanniTV” sections of Danni.com. The site is the first subscription-based addition to the Ecast network, which also includes digital music, games and e-commerce.

“Danni.com’s enormous popularity will undoubtedly fuel the success of our network in the venues where adult content is appropriate,” said Roger McAulay, Ecast president and chief operating officer. “And since our network is fully customizable, each establishment will be able to decide for itself if Danni.com will appeal to its patrons.”

“I chose to put my site on the Ecast entertainment network so my loyal fans can visit it when they’re away from their PCs,” said Ashe. “Plus by letting people try Danni.com without committing to a subscription fee, I will be reaching a new audience that might not have otherwise found the site at all.”
