(LOS ANGELES, CA) — After three years of planning, the vision of 31 year old publisher Michael Davis’s free monthly magazine, is about to be realized. The launch of Bold Magazine, a 10 X 12” tabloid formatted unscripted, uncensored, and unpredictable publication, will cater to the demographics of 18 to 35 year old men and women with an average income of $60,000.

The readers targeted are college educated, and the majority will have computers utilizing the internet. The magazine is entirely LA based. The premiere collector’s issue will feature former Baywatch beauty Gena Lee Nolin on the cover and an exclusive interview with this newest Sheena, Queen of the Jungle for the TV series now in production.

Davis decided to go where no magazine has gone before. To boldly present the issues and the facts, even breaking the rules and getting away with it. Thus, the title Bold Magazine.

The magazine’s media kit contains a definition of bold. BOLD (bold) adj. 1. Showing a readiness to take risks or face danger; daring, fearless. 2. To be free in behavior or manner; taking liberties; shameless.

“We will feature Bold Models, hot women and men’s fashion layouts of high quality, celebrity covers and profiles, news, entertainment, gossip, travel tips, humor, sexual issues, technology, cyber issues and much more baby”, states publisher Michael Davis, CEO, Davis Media Group. “We will change the rules… straddling the left and the right, the right and the wrong, because who is going to tell us which is which ? ” Davis continues. And to be true to his vision, Bold will include column titles such as “ Bold Vices ” and “ Easy Money ”, expounding on topics of gambling, smoking, drinking, sex, money, shopping, as well as more traditional columns with cool information on clubs, books, films, music, great escapes, digital culture, and really Bold classifieds.

Bold Magazine’s feature stories, some so bold that they may be banned from the wire services, will be announced next month just before the first issue hits the more than 600 free distribution points throughout the entire city. Investigative reporting, ongoing right up to deadline, will insure our readers with a “ can’t put it down” obsession. One story, already leaked, is entitled LAPD’s Toughest Female Cop.

Davis has brought in the best, brightest, and boldest of editors, writers, and reporters from throughout the country. The photos, layouts, and graphics will be unique and of course..BOLD!
