(BARCELONA, Spain) — Private Media Group Inc. (Nasdaq: PRVT – news) worldwide leader in premium- quality adult entertainment products, services and Internet content, today announced the adoption of Computer-To-Plate (CTP) process technology for printing.

The adoption of Computer-To-Plate technology eliminates the need for the production of film/color separations during the pre-printing process saving time and money with improved quality. In simple terms CTP allows printers to receive disks containing electronic files (both text and graphics) and directly output to a plate. The result is a top quality image which takes minutes instead of hours to produce.

This is another step in Private Media Group’s commitment to deliver top quality products and services. Furthermore, keeping in the forefront of new technology, the Company projects estimated yearly savings of more than $450,000 by using the Computer-To-Plate process.

The leading publicly-quoted adult entertainment company in the world, Private Media Group Inc., is the founder of the globally established brand name ‘Private’ and has positioned itself in the marketplace with a visionary management strategy that combines both New Economy (Internet, multimedia, e-commerce) and Old Economy (videos, magazines) business models. Maintaining a total adult lifestyle philosophy, this is reflected in the Company’s broad range of products and services, both proprietary and licensed, and its strategic policies of development, diversification and acquisition.
