(CLEAVLAND, OH) — Pantera instore in Cleveland was just as crazy as expected. Over 1500 kids came out..many of them camping out overnight to meet the band.
WRQK and WMMS were out at the event passing things out and college station WJCU brought out their PA and entertained the crowd all day and night. The band was 2 hours late so crowd control became a little scary…at one point all 1500 people were chanting my name!! Bill Peters(PDR) and WMMS DJ Chris Akin risked their lives and stayed in front entertaining everyone on the PA while I handled things in the store.
The band arrived and started signing a little after 6:00 and signed until 10:30. Kira was a trouper and stuck it out as well. One 16 year old guy was in tears and the band took care of him and gave him a backstage pass….they really love their fans and stayed until every last person got an autograph. The local police were amazing…they were very patient and alot of fun..and there was only one arrest! Overall it was a very exhausting but successful event.
