PANELS & SPEAKERS ANNOUNCED FOR EXPO 2000 IN LAS VEGAS

(LAS VEGAS, NV) — The line-up of speakers and panelists for the upcoming 8th Annual Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo this Aug. 29-31 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas has been announced.

Expo 2000 will attract over 3,000 adult nightclub owners, touring feature entertainers, First Amendment attorneys, and adult industry suppliers and vendors for three days of Panel Sessions, a 250-booth Tradeshow, evening dancer showcases, and the Year 2000 Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show.

There will be a general meeting of the Association of Club Executives (ACE), of which the Free Speech Coalition is a sponsor, from 1-3 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 29.

Legal Panel 1-

Government & Your Club

An update on PAPs, and the latest legal precautions and maneuvers you can take to keep federal, state and local government from interfering with your club operations. The panel is moderated by attorney Luke Lirot, and includes attorneys Roger Jon Diamond, Dan Silver, Michael Murray, and Alan Begner, and secondary effects specialist Dr. Dan Linz.

POINT COUNTERPOINT

Five attorneys facing a panel of five club owners, and all of them are on the hot seat. A give-and-take discussion on legal questions of the most interest to club owners. The panel is moderated by attorney Dick Wilson. Attorneys on the panel include Edi Thomas, Randy Tigue and Brad Shafer, along with noted industry accountant Dave Shindel. They will face a panel of five club owners including Michael Ocello of the PT’s club chain; Rob Katzman, who owns adult clubs in Michigan and Canada; Don Dalponte of Weasels in Wisconsin; David Benham, who owns two Night Trips in Oklahoma; and Paul Eubanks of the Regina’s chain.

THE DJ PANEL

Music-the second most important item your club offers customers. The industry’s top DJs and music providers address maximizing profits from the DJ booth. The panel is moderated by DJ Chris London of the Pure Gold chain, and includes Ken Williams of MAL Entertainment, Shawn Rhem of Pure Gold, Jake Beaber of Blackjacks, Dave Rajput of Promo Only CDs and Saied Motaei of DJ Power.

THE NEW TECHNOLOGY PANEL

It’s the New Millennium, so it’s about time to learn how the Internet, computers and new technology can streamline club operations and increase profits. Panelists include Terry Singer of Berg Company to talk about liquor control systems; Dave Chesal of Martin Professional to talk about new sound and lighting innovations; Troy Medore of Deja Vu Showgirls and David Cooper of ED Internet to talk about the worldwide web; Randy Hanshaw of Reportware to talk about computerizing your club; and attorney David Wasserman to talk about the technology and the law.

THE “IF I OWNED YOUR CLUB” PANEL

Five professionals who have managed over 150 clubs give “from-the-trenches” advice on what club owners do wrong and right when starting and running clubs. Moderated by veteran club pro Randy Beasley, with Gina Bain of Fantasy Topless Theatre in Colton, California; Rob Caprio of Hospitality 101; Russell Benedetto of RB Productions; and attorney Danny Aaronson.

THE DANCER PANEL

Ten secrets on how entertainers can increase their bookings, maximize their promotional exposure, and market their products. The panel is moderated by feature entertainer turned club owner Nicole Tyler, with N. THE CLUB OWNERS ONLY PANEL

What’s working and what’s not? Where do we go from here? A panel for club owners by club owners, with an open mic forum where every club owner has the opportunity to address his or her counterparts about our industry. It’s the one time each year where club owners can share their ideas and concerns.
