(SEATTLE, WA) — From Seth Warshavsky, President, Internet Entertainment Group: "We are pleased that the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals believes the Child Online Protection Act is unconstitutional.

The act would have been one more unwarranted intrusion by the government into people’s private lives. We will continue to support Net Nanny and other software that enables parents to block inappropriate material from being seen on family computers. Enforcing this is the obligation of parents not the government. We also will continue to seek support for our proposal for a dot-adult domain on the Internet in which all sexually explicit sites could be screened from children."

Internet Entertainment Group is a Seattle-based Web content provider and Internet e-commerce development company. Its flagship site is ClubLove.com, one of the most popular adult sites on the Internet.
