(NEW YORK CITY, New York) — New Jersey state Senator Marge Roukema supports cutting off federal funds for a controversial New York City art exhibit.Roukema says taxpayers should NOT have to pay for an exhibit that violates Catholic beliefs and glorifies pedophiles and child murderers.
The House has passed a resolution saying NO federal money should fund the controversial exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
One of the exhibit’s paintings has come under fire for depicting a black Madonna and featuring a clump of elephant dung with cutouts from pornographic magazines.
