LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – A woman described as a former associate of “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss was arrested Thursday and charged with operating one of the busiest call girl rings in the city, with a client list that included actors, celebrities and company CEO’s.

Police said they arrested Jody “Babydol” Gibson, 41, also known as “Sasha,” at a posh Los Angeles hotel after a 10-month investigation.

She was charged with pimping and pandering. Her clients allegedly paid from $500 to $3,000 per visit with one of her prostitutes.

Los Angeles police Lt. Mike Felix told reporters her client list included “actors, producers, a few CEO’s, some (executives with) Fortune 500 companies and at least one professional athlete.” He declined to name them but said, “You would know some of these people.”

He added that search warrants produced notebooks listing the clients, the amounts they paid and their “fetish if any.”

Felix said the “service” was one of the busiest in the city, employing three dozen women at a single time and had branches in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, New York and Europe. It also had it own Web site available to clients only.

Police found a manuscript at Gibson’s home which she wrote, claiming that Fleiss once wanted to work for her.

Felix would not rule out arresting any of Gibson’s clients but said police did not expect to do so.

Fleiss, arrested in 1995, was one of the city’s most notorious madams, providing prostitutes to the rich and famous. She was released from a federal prison in April and transferred to a halfway house.

But Fleiss elected to go back to prison and finish another six months because she said she had been harassed at the halfway house.

Fleiss was charged with running a call girl ring catering to Hollywood’s elite.

Although the names in her “black book” were never revealed, actor Charlie Sheen acknowledged in videotaped testimony to paying her thousands of dollars for the services of prostitutes. The remainder of her client list was a hot topic of Hollywood speculation.
